We are currently seeking interest from NMC Registered Nurses to work within a new rehabilitation ward in the South of England. This exciting opportunity will suit an RMN who has a working knowledge of this specialist area.
The service provides intensive rehabilitation for patients with a forensic history or challenging behaviour (or both) and focuses on developing daily living skills, coping strategies and relapse prevention.
Essential:
-Current First Level Registration on the appropriate part of the Register held by the N.M.C.
-Evidence of continuing professional development and experience in caring for Service Users who exhibit challenging behaviour.
-Minimum of 6 months experience as a D Grade in the following Mental Health settings - Acture, PICU, Rehab, Forensic.
-Working with CPA process.
-Demonstrate knowledge of risk assessment and risk management.
-Knowledge of NMC Code of Conduct.
-Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983) and other relevant legislation applicable to Mental Health.
