Service Manager

Mind Professionals is seeking to appoint a Service Manager for leading and implementing the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme in the Primary Care, North East. The post holder will work with the Clinical Lead of the service, the role will involve ensuring that national guidelines are adhered to in line with the national programme, facilitating long term plans in liaison with local partners, developing a short, medium and long term workforce plan to meet the needs of the service, taking into account local recruitment and retention issues including staff turnover and training needs, ensuring targets are achieved and that the clinical governance arrangements are in place.

For eligibility we require a Masters level training in a health or management subject, experience of working in health services where multi disciplinary working was part of service delivery, preferably in the Primary Care Services. Able to guide a service, influence and work with local partners in health and social care, as well as demonstrate an understanding of the national IAPT service and how it links to governmental objectives
