We operate the highest standards of professional recruitment practice and our registration procedures are therefore thorough in order to comply fully with NHS /Government / MOD guidelines for the appointment of staff, whether or a locum, fixed term contract, or substantive basis. Our clients are wishing to employ fully qualified and accredited Health Professionals, holding valid registration and entitlement to practice with their appropriate Governing Body (GMC, HPC, BPS, BACP, NMC, GSCC etc). UK qualified Psychologists will need to hold or be eligible for Chartership Status with the British Psychological Society; assistance can also be provided to fully trained overseas qualifed Clinical or Counselling psychologists, provided Registration with the BPS is approved, with application for Statement of Equivalence (SoE) in Clinical or Counselling Psychology already in process. We will require copies of all certification or correspondence from your Governing Body, confirming the status of your registration, to process your application with Mind Professionals.

PLEASE NOTE IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH STRICT NATIONAL EMPLOYMENT LEGISLATION WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPRESENT YOU FOR PERMANENT, INTERIM OR TEMPORARY APPOINTMENT UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY REGISTERED WITH MIND PROFESSIONALS AND YOUR UP TO DATE DOCUMENTATION FILE IS COMPLETE.
To complete your registration with Mind Professionals we require our Registration and Health forms and all documents applicable to your profession and status as listed below, to be returned to us together with our completed checklist. Any original identity documents sent to Mind Professionals will be photocopied and returned to you by Special Delivery the same day. We are able to accept copies so long as they are, verified and stamped by an approved body such as your current employer, a Post Office, Police Station or Solicitor.
1. Identity and Security Documentation
- Valid Passport
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK if non EU passport, including Home Office letters.
- CRB Enhanced Disclosure certificate (See Note1.).
- Additional Identification (driving licence, birth or marriage certificate etc.)
- Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement etc.)
- Two passport photos
2. Professional Documentation
- Up to date Curriculum Vitae
- GMC Registration Certificate & Licence to Practice
- Details of two professional referees that you are happy for us to contact from your most recent appointments, for work within the last two years.
- Specialist Training Certificate (CCST if applicable)
- Proof of Performers List Entry (if applicable)
- Professional Qualification Certificates
- Mental Health Act approval (if applicable)
- Details of current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Evidence and reports of most recent annual professional appraisal
- Certificates of Annual Practical Training (Basic / Advanced Life Support etc)
- Certificates of mandatory basic training
3. Occupational Health Clearance Documentation
- Validated serology report of Hepatitis B Titre & surface Antigen issued within 5 years
- Evidence of recent Hep B Booster if applicable
- Proof of Rubella immunity
- Proof of Varicella immunity
- Validated Proof of TB immunity
- Validated Hepatitis C / Hepatitis B Surface Antigen / HIV (See Note2.).
Note1: We will forward application forms for your new Enhanced CRB Disclosure through Mind Professionals to you by post, if clearance is required for the role you wish to apply for, with full instructions for completion, contained within.
